QOTD...My First!!

Ok ladies... I wanted to say thank you again for choosing me as BOTW. I honestly didn't think it would come.

Anyways, since money is SUCH an issue right now...with the holidays, paying for the wedding and everything else... lets say that you were handed 100K, such as winning the lotto. (I WISH!! )

Would you change anything about your wedding? Such as the RH, the flowers...Anything?

To be honst, I would just pay everything off, and actually get my family GOOD Christmas presents. I feel like I'm cheating everyone this year with the lack of funds...but they all understand.. I hope. LOL.
I am in love with my RH, and all the vendors I booked. I would probably end up getting someone to profesionally do my make-up...but that's really it.
I'm paying for most of the wedding with FH so it's hard, but I really didn't want to cut certain things out...I just tried to get them cheaper. lol.
As for the rest of the money I would prolly just pay off the rest of my loans, such as my car...and buy a house! That's my dream...

If I was handed 100k, I wouldn't change anything about my wedding. I already have the RH I wanted, the photo/video I wanted, while if I had the money originally I may have gotten floral CPs, but honestly my hurricanes are so much more me, and I know that I'm going to get a great DJ and hair and makeup regardless, and I like my dress, veil, headpiece, etc. I'm fortunate that even though money is an issue, I've been able to put together exactly what I like without sacrificing much.

I would use that money towards a house down payment no questions asked. That's such a cause of stress right now, and even though we do have money saved, it might not be enough to get a house right out of the gate. 100k more in houses is such a difference in neighborhoods we can buy in to, or quality of house, that it would be such an amazing thing to have that luxury.

I would definitely do the following:

Have two dresses
Hire David Tutera
Spend more time in Hawaii for the HM

I guess all I can do is dream!!!!

I would get a new photog since I wouldn't worry about losing the deposit and I would hire the best of the best for makeup and hair.. and thats it. i have plenty of other expenses to use the money on

not really. everything we are doing we're doing it the way we wanted. we are definitely looking for ways to save money, but we are still doing it the way we want.

I don't think we would change anything. I would TRY to change FH's mind and hire a band instead of a dj, but he realy does prefer the dj.....

Other than that, I would just put the $100,000 in the house fund!

i would move the day up... i'm def struggling with waiting until october... i haven't really done much b/c i feel like it's so far away! and with 100k, i would put it on a house and pay off our debts...

I would keep my RH the same but I would upgrade on teh CPs and the HM, give the familes nicer gifts and put everything else into a house

I don't think I would change anything either, I love my RH, haven't picked all the vendors yet though...but I def think I would use some of it to take a crazy HM, then the rest to pay off bills/debt and use towards a house!!!

I would have my HM for like a month in Tahiti or Bora Bora.
I would have 2 dresses
Have tons of flowers everywhere
Videographer

Everything else is perfect

I always try and not do the 'what if we win the lotto' because i'm always afraid of getting my hopes up!!! But I will live a litlte today! Feeling festive since we finally decided to decorate

I think I would change my wedding from a Sunday night to a Saturday only because I think some of my family won't make it due to the day of the week. And pay for the guests hotel rooms. Other then that it would all go towards bills and down payment on a house!!!

ETA: OMG forgot the best part - would take the honeymoon of a lifetime - just haven't figured out what that is!
