anyone scared/embarrassed of any of their wedding guests?
- drunks - drama - fights - etc
fh's cousin is married to this lunatic... i dont like him, noone does...
he gets sloppy drunk at parties and likes to be the center of attention on the dancefloor. last year during fmil and ffil's anniversary party (nice 50 person event at a small room in rh, everyone dressed up, the whole nine) he started doing a ballerina dance during ffil and fmil's solo dance
I AM TOTALLY GIVING THE BM HIS PIC AND ORDERING THAT THEY DONT LET HIM OUT OF SIGHT

ok vent over... anyone else feel this way abt any of their guests? (oh and he must be invited...or else fh's grandma might talk smack )

Someone must've been smiling down on me because all the crazy people I was worried about RSVPed 'not attending'! But if they had said yes, then sure I would've been worried!
ETA: As it is a few GMs got sh!tfaced... one actually fell asleep in his ice cream cannoli and got ice cream all over his shirt sleeve. But I wasn't aware and I just laughed when I saw the pics!

Yup...we are friends with a guy and a girl who used to date...we weren't going to not invite either of them and they've both sworn they'll behave but they are also prone to the drama...did I mention the guy is one of our GM?
Also, I wouldn't put it past FSIL to pull some kind of ridiculous move...and I know my grandma is pisssssed at FSIL because FSIL told me I should consider her above my grandparents...and my grandma is going senile and starts bar fights and stuff so I wouldn't be surprised if she started some sh!t with FSIL (although I think that would be more funny than it would piss me off ). As long as she doesn't get in a physical altercation with her we should be alright (unfortunately, its a possibility...my g-rents were with my aunt and someone cut them off for a parking space...so my gma and gpa got out of the car and started hitting the other person's car with their canes).
I should put my videographer on red alert...if my gma pushes FSIL into the lagoon I definitely want that on tape

I am not going to say who (lurkers), but someone caused a bit of a scene at my wedding causing my brother & SIL to leave early. I didn't freak out about it that night because I was unsure of what was going on. But as I'm hearing more and more about what this person did and how they acted, I'm very embarrassed for them. Four words- Some people shouldn't drink

the only thing i'm afraid of is one of FH's brothers (who is one of the best men) ... i'm deathly afraid of his speech. i know it's going to be extremely obnoxious and i am scared.
otherwise, i don't forsee too much drama ... but who knows

FBIL can not handle alcohol well... he is really skinny too so being a such a light weight no bueno. he had a party at FIL's house when they were away last year and FH and I stopped by the next day. I had to clean the house cause he was so sick and there didn't seem to be enough empty bottles to do that to me! I am a little worried he will end up sick at some point.
The person we were worried about started fights, etc. ended up not being invited!

I only worry about 2 people. One is my friend (a guy) and the other is my friend's husband. My friend is very opinionated, and sometimes has no filter. He doesn't drink so this is him sober. I love him to death cause he's a wonderful friend to us, but I know other people wonder why I am friends with him. So I have to be careful who I sit him with, because if I sit him with anther strong personailty, then there's going to be a clash, if I sit him with too weak personalities, he's going to overpower everyone. Then my friend's husband has a tendancy to get drunk. Really drunk. And says the wrong things to people. So now I have to figure out where to put him.... UGGGHHHHH Maybe I'll just draw straws.

personally I am more worried about my rehersal dinner since it is the night before and i'm afraid FH's fraternity brothers wont be able to behave
Drunk people are ridiculous when my brother got married one of his friends got ridiculously intoxicated and was thrown out went to the parking lot and punched and shattered in his own windshield on his car and then when he got back to the hotel with everyone else he pushed one of the GMs into a mirror and the GM had to go to the hospital and got 19 stitches what a nightmare!

my moms husband....there was a lot of drama when me and fh moved out of their house and the two guys hate each other....fh said if he shows up he will be escorted out on is a$$ which in turn will cause a fight bw me and fh, me and mom, fh and my brother. .....cant i change my mind and elope?

I am hoping for a drama free night. The worst thing I can see is my FFIL or my Grandma getting really drunk! They both tend to drink too much, and swear that they don't...and neither can walk well without drinking! We have designated people to 'look after' each of them so hopefully we know nothing about it!

well FH's family is Latin and likes to drink..a LOT.
FBIL had already been warned bc he tried to jump into the fountain at the Sandcastle at his cousin's sweet 16.
We're booking land's End and I guarantee someone ends up in the water. Id put money on it.
one of the cousin's bf has already started drama in the past and called the whole family 'spics'. hes white btw. yeah..FH said he cant come to the wedding and i said the family has let it go, hes invited or that whole part of the family wont come. He doesn't care. Did I mention he ripped his shirt off in the middle of the street and tried to fight multiple people? My Dad will kick his *** if he steps one foot out of line.
there are so many ifs here..you cant even imagine.

Yes, I was worried about my uncle who is a mean drunk but thankfully no problems.
DH was a little embarrassed of his cousin's husband who got ridiculously drunk and started to harass our dhol player and us when we were taking pro pics; I was soo close to cursing him out but the photogs and DH ignored him so I did also.

OMG yes!!!!
FMIL is a total nut. She swears every event that ever takes place is about her. Even though its my wedding, I wouldn't be surprised if she foinds some way to make it all about her. FH's family is used to it...MY family will want to kick her in the taco.
Also, I have a cousin who I have to invite. He is a drug addict. So, needless to say, card box will be on lock down! I am worried about him picking a fight and also stealing from my other guests.

my uncle(moms bro) and his wife (my godmother, moms BF) are not speaking to my mom or my grandpa(his dad). Uncles daughter (my cousin) is a BM. so that should be werid there. oh ang they barly speak to my grandma also.
oh and some of moms side i dont even know, but for some reason i still have to invite them. anyway they are all crack heads. and they are all really embrassing.
my boss and coworks are like my 3rd family. well my boss is seperated from his wife, has not spoken to his daughter in about 3 months and they are all invited.
so this is be good.
FH and i have bets going on to which one is gunna have the blow up first.

I am not worried about anyone but FH is afraid that his cousins husband will cause a scene. At FH's dads funeral dinner this same person caused a scene because he couldnt get another drink to go.
