whether to be a better person, achieve your goals, follow your dreams, etc. For whatever reason it may be... what Movie always gives you 'that' feeling??

Norma Rae... I know this is an old movie for many of you. I just like how she took on the establishment.
When I get crazy about an unjust issue FH calls me Norma Rae and starts chanting it like they did in the factory scene in the movie.

On Golden Pond- reminds me so much of my childhood and all the dreams I was going to achieve in the future.
Rudy- I love this movie so much. It teaches so much about perseverance. I always cry at the end.

The Shawshank Redemption.
As rough as it can be in patches, it really inspires me to push on - PERSISTANCE, PERSEVERANCE< PASSION< all of these things come to mind when i see it...
This movie is it for me too. I didn't think anyone else would pick it too.

In terms of subject matter and plot: Stand by me.
It always makes me think about my childhood friends and how the lessons I learned as a child really shaped the person I am.
In terms of the final artistic product:
Memento.
I just think that the writer took such risks and wrote it so well that I find it really inspiring. yeah, the subject matter is kinda grim - but I think it's structured so well.

Toss up between Finding Forester and Mr. Holand's Opus
Mr. Holland's Opus!! Totally forgot about that movie and totally LOVE IT!!! So inspiring.
But the movie that never fails to get me is That Thing You Do. When Liv Tyler is running and screaming through the street because their song finally made the radio, I very happily lose it.
