Anyone have good recommendations of where to look for quality area rugs. We're looking for something with a geometric design -- not too funky, but not too plain. I want it to be soft and durable. We looked at Fortunoff's and didn't love their selection or their price.

I just saw some nice ones at Homegoods! The MegaMarshalls also has a large selection of oriental ones and geometric ones. 5' by 8' were mostly $150, huge ones $300-500. Good luck!

Where is MegaMarshalls?
There's one on 347 right near Smithaven. It's just a bigger Marshalls that also has home stuff.

Do you like Pottery Barn? They had a square design one at the outlet last weekend. I think the Macy's clearance center has area rugs too.

I do like Pottery Barn -- I've seen the styles in the catalog, but I've never gotten there to see them up close.
FH is very concerned about how it FEELs.
I'll have to check them out too.

We keep buying rugs for the LR & DR at HOME DEPOT! They are reasonably priced and look & feel good (we just need to replace often because of our three dogs).
