Honesty #1 and being able to Trust my friends is a big one too!

Great question!!! I think both are equally important and should go hand in hand. Doesn't help to have honesty if the person is your worst enemy. Honesty does not stop someone from talking behind your back etc. But loyalty is not much if your friends can't be honest with you. JMO.

Loyalty and companionship! Thinking the same things are funny, being interested in the same things, support, being able to tell them just about anything and not being JUDGED. That's a big one.
I think it's important to love your friends, too. Love them and treat them well. Don't compete, gossip, complain about each other, or be jealous and spiteful.
Why even be friends of all that crap comes into play?

For me - LOYALTY is #1. If you are not loyal, then you are worthless! For my circle, if a friend has an 'enemy' - that person is my enemy too. I dont believe in diplomacy when it comes to friends - you have to choose a side!
#2 is Balance. Some girls just like to complain about their life 24/7, some like to tell you have fabulous their life is 24/7, some girls want to be the helper 24/7, some girls want to get drunk 24/7. Get a little balance - give and take!
