Quantity of invitations

So last night me and FH put our guest list together and cut some people out. We're gonna need 175 invites. Ughhhh.
I was really hoping it would be something like 100 invites. So much for budget now!!!

It's been a freaking horror. We had about 400 adults- cut that down to 310 adults. The 310 doesn't even including 53 children we have on the freaking list either. We figured that if 20% say no- it would be perfect, but still- we gotta pay for the stupid invites whose response will be 'no'.

whoa! how many ppl are you inviting???

we have 210 on the list now and we need 117 invites. obviously will be ordering more though as backups

Tell me about it. There's literally no way around decreasing these invites. My aunt had 5 kids which are all married and w/ their own families. Just that family will be getting 6 invites: 5 to my cousins and one to my aunt and uncle. They don't live in the same household so there's no way around this. Ughhh. I hate spending money.

I feel your pain.. We just figured out we need at least 200 invites for a guest list of 375.. I'm afraid even 200 won't be enough!! Think evites are appropriate??? Lol jk

I feel your pain. I wanted to stay under 1k for invites. I'm still hoping it could be done.

I sent my inventory design list to 'her.' There are also some other people I wanna check out as well.
All I know is that I want pocketfolds on metallic paper with a little bit of bling. Looks like it's good-bye bling for me.

I guess I was too naive. When reading posts I always thought the norm was 100 invites. I knew I may have 125, but never thought I needed 175. Were you able to stay under 1k for your invites?
