You can try Martha's Bakery on Forest Hills or one of the bakeries on Metropolitan Ave. There's also a few on Elmhurst Ave.

I have heard mixed reviews about
Marthas but I never tried so I don't know.

That is where I am getting my Groom's Cake from!
He has no address listed in the website but he is located in Queens.

I tried both their cakes and cupcakes and they're delicious. The cakes are very moist unlike most bakeries where the cakes tend to dry out.

I am not sure about Groom's cake - but they do wedding cakes.

LOVE IT even though I don't really eat sweets. The owner worked as a pastry chef at the Waldorf, and I think the prices are reasonable.

Side note: if you are there on a weekend, try their St. Honore Cake. But get there early, it sells out early in the day.
