Queens Brides - Need a hairstylist or salon. Please HELP!
First post:
I am getting quite nervous about my hair. This has prompted me to stop being a lurker and ask you lovely ladies if you know of any place in Queens (salon or in house) that can do some great long styles. I'd like to keep it down, maybe some curls etc.
Recommend anyone?
Also, on a bit of a budget so on the lower end would be great.

Not sure where in Queens you are but I used R&L Salon and I was very happy...it is located in Whitestone. I would recommend Rosa or Lourdes for the brides hair and makeup

Before switching stylist, I went to Christie & Co. in the Bay Terrace Shopping Center in Bayside. I would speak with them to recommend a stylist and make up artist.

I highly recommend Tina from Wedding Box in Flushing!! I had half up and half down with curls in the evening. You can see how my hair looked here:

SpACE Salon and Spa is Awsome. It is in Astoria and I have been going there for years. For your Hair ask for Adela.

I have a trial with Pilatos hair salon by J they are located on 83rd st and Northern blvd they have done beautiful work in the past, i'm not sure about pricing.

I used Sachiko yananse and HIGHLY recomend her. She's in astoria and can go to you. She went to my hotel on my wedding day in Westbury. She was awesome! She was my favorite vendor. Her email address is: [email protected]

My local hair dresser did my hair and makeup. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the way it came out. I had gone for two other trials and hated them. She is located in Astoria and works out of her house, but she does travel to you if you would like. If you need her to to BMs, she has her SIL and best friend come as well. FM me if you want her info
