Queens / City Lower Grade teachers ( 2 part ? )

1. I did my school supply shopping for my second grader and was curious if a Pre-K'er will need any supplies
My second grader went to a different school in the district for Pre-K, now both of them are going to be in the same school. Do supplies needed differ from school to school and class to class

Call me naive.


2. On a different note do you know of any schools needing a school secretary or an aide I see many posts where for teacher positions you guys say to contact the schools directly, do you think I should do that as well Looking in either district 25 or 26

Yes sometimes supplies differ from class to class or even bdifferent buildings...but the basics are always the same..crayons, pencils, erasers, tissues, maybe baby wipes, folders, pencil case...
not sure about notebooks for the little ones..I teach 5th.

my SIL teachs 4th and she said the same thing butb since there seems to be many elementary teachers and such here I thoiught Id ask.
