So I went to a place near my house to get my wedding dress cleaned after the TTD shoot - the guy said $170 --- but $190 if I want to 'box it.' That just seems insane, because I remember seeing places that was like $40. Anyone know anywhere that I can go to get it dry cleaned that's at the most around $50?!

Nothing, she filled up the tup with water, soaked the dress and hand washed it. I'm telling you the dress came out like I had just picked it up from the bridal salon.

Hm, I might end up just trying this. I basically just have dirt on it, so I don't see why I couldn't do this.

Re: Queens Girls: Dry Cleaner Recommendations...
i actually also cleaned the bottom of my dress by hand in the tub and the dirt surprisingly came out. there's some dirt on other parts of the dress since i was climbing down rocks and laying on the ground and trees but i was going to wait to bring it to get that part cleaned.
sh*t i thought $190 was a good price for boxing and preserving the dress. i guess it's not this is why i'm broke

I went to maspeth dry cleaners on elliot and 74th they charge 100 to box. I spent a fortune there having my dress dry cleaned and boxed.
