So one of my BM's is christening her daughter on September 7th. Because $ is tight for her, I'd like to put together a luncheon for them. Normally, I would do it at my house, BBQ style, but I live in West Babylon.
Can anyone suggest a nice (cheap) place near her, or even like an outdoor space where we can bring food.
TIA

Re: Queens girls: Glendale Area
We threw a 30th bday party for FH at the Knights of Columbus in Bayside, it's not too far from glendale. I believe it was $500 to rent the space and then we brought in heros and some appetizers. They provide the tables and chairs and everything. It was nice

I know my friend is having her baby shower at O'Neills in Glendale/Maspeth. Not quite sure on the price though. You can also try the sly fox inn in Jamaica Estates its really cheap for Brunch and pretty close to glendale.

Belmont Steaks is right over there. We had my nephew's christening there and it was nice. There are also a bunch of KoC type halls over there.
