So, i love Long Island and its wedding boards, but I have to confess that I live in Queens and it's sort of a pain in the @$$ to travel out to the island for every vendor appoitnment I have!!!
I mean everything is like an hour drive from me.
I really want to make it to the January 13th GTG but an hour drive is just a little too much for bowling for (plus FH won't be here and I'm sick of going out alone!)
Any other girls from the boros on here? I'd love to plan a LIW local GTG...
Anyone interested......maybe even those who don't live that far out in LI?

I feel your pain...i am on the east end of the island so everything is a hike west for me! and like an hour...haha. I think you could get something going in your area!

I'm in Howard Beach!! I'd love a GTG in Queens....but January is pretty busy for me! The 20th is TWOTY and the 26th is my b-day!!! So I'll be going out that weekend.
Let me know where you guys might be thinking of going and when.

I am in Floral Park, the Nassau County side not the Queens side, but I pretty much consider myself a Queens girl (born there, lived there would die to live in forest Hills!)

The first weekend is good for me, my birthday is the next weekend (the 11th) then for some reasoN FH distant cousins want to get together the following week........then March is here and I will proably be going nuts! AAAAAHHH so close and so much weight to lose!
