For those brides who live in queens, who are you using for hair and make up, and are you having them in home? So many of the vendors on here are from suffolk.

they are coming to my home. My hair and make up vendors are located in manhattan though. If you are having them come to your house then they don't need to be from queens. Many queens girls even have LI vendors coming to their home

I'm in queens and so is my hair/mu person, Sachiko Yanase, but i'm getting married in Westchester so she's going up there to get me ready. Most hair/mu people will travel wherever so you don't necessarily need someone who's located in Queens.

I also used Sachiko Yanase for my makeup, but as the pp mentioned, most hair and make up artists will travel to you. But regardless of where you're getting married, I highly recommend Sachiko! As for hair, I used Stacy Pitt, and she was fantastic. Stacy is located in Manhattan, but she will travel as well.

In Astoria, I recommend SPAce Salon on Ditmars Blvd. Nickey (sp?) did my makeup for my engagement party and I got RAVES about it!! I didn't get my hair done by her, but she did my mom's hair and my mom loved it (and my mom is VERY picky about hairstylists).
