You might also want to look into Fairlfield Inn at LaGuardia/Astoria (on Astoria Blvd South) ...brand new hotel, but their honeymoon suite is a bit small...

well we live in queens, had reception in LI but after the wedding we stayed at a hotel in the city for 2 days.
