Hi Ladies....
does any one have any suggestions for a shower location (restaurant) in Queens for 40ish or so people that is under $20???
TIA!!!
I did a baby shower for my sister at the Laguardia marriot for about $25/person. It was on a Sat. in June, so maybe a sunday will be cheaper.
The food was great!!

Thats not a lot of people, so you definitely can find a restaurant that has a back room or is willing to rent out the whole place to you. I am not sure about prices, but some places that come to mine are Joe Abbraciamentos on Woodhaven Blvd or Sarabella on Metropolitan Ave (sorry I only know Forest Hills area ones) or even Mood in Kew Gardens off of Lefferts Blvd, this place is really cute, kind of modern looking, but still cute and great food.
I definitely think with that number of people you should opt for a restaurant as opposed to a hall.

Villa Marcello in Ozone Park, right off Cross Bay. I just had a surprise 30th bday party for DH. Their menu starts at $18.95 per person. The food was really good and it includes cake.

A lot of the places on Bell - They all mostly have private rooms - I have been to a few on Bell that didn't cost a lot of money. Also, Sly fox inn on Union.

Woodhaven House on Woodhaven Blvd. Really nice private room. Threw a baby shower there and am sure it was less than $20 pp.
I also threw a wedding shower at Bourbon Street on Bell Blvd. Private room & reasonable.

Il Fagiano in Whitestone is great .. I am having my engagement party there Aug 20th. The most expensive party menu selection is $44.95 per person but EVERYTHING is included.
Also, in whitestone is Castle Mare - they are down the block from Il Fagiano & have a small room. The food is great there.
