Ques about extra cookie favor

I was thinking about making cookies, poss. the ones shaped like wedding cakes, or maybe just reg choc chip and/or oatmeal raisin and putting them in those little cookie bags they sell and putting them on the table just as a little extra.

I love to bake, so this could not be stressful for me, having to make them a few days before the wedding....what do you think? Am I out of my mind to think that I should do this?

Maybe. . . but if it won't stress you out then do it. If you love baking, it might even be a form of stress relief. Just have a back-up plan incase too many things come up near the end.

the days leading up to your wedding get really busy and a wee bit stressful. even if you try to be superorganized.
I'd worry it's too large a project...
what if something goes wrong--- a batch gets burned or falls on the floor? Then you'll REALLY get stressed out! who needs more pressure before the wedding? Unless you find baking & wrapping hundreds of cookies relaxing, you might want to think about having someone else make them?

I got cookies in shape of wedding cake from St. Honore pastry shop -- see my comments on brides review. People really liked them-- especially women (but they always like cute bridey things). FM me if you want details.

We are throwing a shower for my firend who is getting married and I got these cookies from this place in Brooklyn- they came out gorgeous , the pics don't do it justice.

In my opinion- I would be too highstrung to bake, thats how I am. If it helps relax you I say go for it!
