What are you girls w/marquise rings doing? My setting sits a bit far out from the band and some plain bands sit ok next to it and some don't. I don't really want a large gap between my e-ring and wedding band, i think it looks stupid. Should I get a band that has a little v to sit the ring in? Should I get an insert? Should I just find a regular band that sits well? I don't know what to do!

I have the same exact problem im actually going to go to a jeweler to see how much it is to raise the stone so i can pick whatever wedding band i want

well ladies i had to reset my ring due to this issue. i have an emerald setting and not one band sat flush. however... it you raise the stone higher it will. now i have one that sits flush against. the v rings are ok, but if you really want one that sits perfectly flush raise it higher

the jeweler that my fh got my engagement ring (marquis) also got the wedding band fo rhim to match and it lays next to it fine no gaps

I have a pear shaped - I know it's not the same but mine was kind of low set - I have pics in my album of my wedding band

Have you thought about having one made??? I have a popular e-ring but the way the setting is I cant raise it any higher b/c the prongs start at my finger and we are going to have mine custom made to bend around the e-ring

I HAVE AN EMBEZELLED SETTING AND HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM..I WAS SHOPPING AROUND ONE DAY AND WENT TO KAY JEWELERS AND FOUND A RAISED BAND SO FH BOUGHT IT I HATE THAT STORE BUT THEY HAD QUITE A SELCTIONN OF BANDS...IF U SEE A BAND THAT COMES AS A SET U CAN BUY IT THATS WHAT HE DID...
