Ques. for brides who wore gloves.

At what point during your wedding did you wear them and when did you take them off? Also, do you think that they ended up being a nuisance?

I wore them up to the exchange of the rings. Then I took both gloves off and gave them to my DH to put in his pocket. Remenber to take both off, so the pictures don't look strange

i put my ring over my gloves during the ceremony and i wore them up untill after did our first dance then i took them off. my bridesmaids wore them most of the night and took them off towards the end.

I took mine off for ring exchange and them put them back on after the church for pictures. I took them off at the reception after our 1st song.

Here is a trick for you guys - make a slit on the glove where the ring would sit on your finger- but just on the top half of the glove. Make sure you don't cut into the side seams. Then when you are ready to do the rings you can slide the finger of the glove off of your finger but it will still be attached to the glove. then the ring will go on and if you can(its kind of tough) you can slip it back on. i did this and everyone thought it was such a good idea. And it looked awesome because i could still wear my gloves with my ring.

Gloves are so so elegant . I intend to just remove the ring hand glove and after my ring is on put the glove back on . I have seen it done that way and it looks very elegant also remember dont give the glove you remove to anyone hold it in your other hand and put it right back on . It all has a look of elegance to it if done right.
