I saw a thread on the 06 board about what night your getting married and why?
I noticed alot of girls said Sunday night because it was cheaper.... Maybe it's my hall, but there wasnt a significant difference in price between a Saturday night or Sunday night wedding... My hall didnt have a Saturday night available in October, so we went with the only day they had available which was the 30th, Sunday night.
Did any of you Sunday girls notice a huge price difference? Just curious
Thanks girlies!!!

Re: question??
I noticed that Friday nights were cheaper. But I'm getting married on a Friday because MOST people are off on Saturday and don't have to worry about getting up too early.

Re: question??
We didn't 'shop' around because we knew we wanted to get married at the WM...so I'm usually lost when it comes to pricing.
We knew we wanted a daytime wedding because of the fall foliage, so with that said we chose Sunday. Reason being...the dealership he works at is closed on Sunday and that's a BIG junk of our guests.
I chose a Sunday night because there was a significant drop in price from Saturday to Sunday.

Re: question??
I dont think there is a big difference between Friday and Sunday at my hall, but Saturday, YES. That was the most expensive day to choose out of all the halls I visited.

Ditto!
Friday and Sunday were the same price...we booked a cancelled Friday and got an amazing deal. But Sunday would have been the same as a non-cancelled Friday. Saturday was a lot more.

Re: question??
There was a big difference at my hall between Saturday and Sunday---Friday being the cheapest night since Sunday is more poular. There were some halls we went to where Friday was more than Sunday, but I have always seen a pretty significant difference from Saturday either way.

Re: question??
When we were looking at halls Friday and Sundays were pretty much the same price. Every place we looked at for a Saturday night was much more and we looked at over 10 halls.

I am also getting married on a Friday night. There was no price difference, and Sunday was cheaper.
