So the first time my gown came in it came in seriously about 2-3 inches too short. I was devastated... so they sent it out to be fixed. I went to see it today and braced myself for it to be wrong. Well... I think it was perfect. But I had a concern. The woman working with me wanted the gown to come in just long enough so that I wouldn't need alterations -- the gown was just above the floor. I thought the gown was supposed to touch the floor. She said no because then I would trip on it, and then it would get dirty... is this right? My parents said it looked perfect and I think I am being paraniod. Calm my crazy obsessions girls... do you have pics of the bottoms of your gowns? Are they not supposed to touch the ground.. Im so confused

Re: ??QUESTION??
I don't have pics of any gowns BUT I went with a friend of mine to her alteration appointment and that's what her seamstress said too. It was altered JUST above the floor......not too high, but high enough to not touch. Now, that was only in the front though.....not the sides.................

Re: ??QUESTION??
Mine will just touch the floor with my shoes on! When you have your shoes on how far off of the ground will it be? I think I would be a little concerned too, sorry I don't mean to cause any more stress!!

Re: ??QUESTION??
I'm going to get flats.. I'm same height as FH and don't want to be taller. The back and sides are perfect and you can't see my feet

If you can't see your feet, then I think it will be fine!
