Re: question?

the range is crazy~and really depends on the type of wedding/couple's finances....because you can buy nice ones for as little as $3 each (my aunt did) but high end invites can go as high $100 bucks each (i've seen them, they are sick) it's really what you can do matched with what you like that will determine it, there no set range~

set a budget and find invitations in that range. What is appropriate to one person isn't to another.

Re: question?

I plan to keep it under $400 for 150 invites. I know some people go all out and spend $4000. It all depends on your budget.

I, personally, dont want to put alot of $ into something that people will most likey toss out.
I would rather put it into the reception.

Other people feel tht the invite is the first thing people see of your wedding so it sets the tone.

It all depends on what you want to spend and where you want to spend it.

The low end that I have seen is like $70 per 100. The high end was $35/invitation.

Re: question?

Ours wound up being $227.00. We didn't need reception cards though, as our reception/ceremony are in the same place...

We got them at www.einvite.com...i think it's costco's invite website..

Re: question?

We spent a little over $500 on our pocketfold invites...and a lot of them seemed to fall in that price range or somewhere around there. But you can certainly get invites for much cheaper than that, and you can definitely spend wayyyyyyyyy more than that! Just figure out an amount of money that works for you and stick to it. You'll definitely find something beautiful in any price range! Good luck!

Re: question?

I personally didn't want to spend a lot on something that will most likely be thrown away but FH thinks of the invitation as more of a keepsake so he wants to get something really nice.

Many of the invitations I like range 3-7 and invite. But personally I'd be happy with a simple elegant invite for 1.50 a piece.

I'm doing it myself for the same reason. Even with ink it will still be much less than $100.

I agree with what most of the girls have said. Definetely check out the Cosco website though. They did have a lot of reasonably priced invites.
