Does anyone know that exchange policy at David's Bridal for BM dresses??
We ordered dresses last year.....Nov. they came in around Christmas time. One of my BM's is Preggo and will definatly not fit into her dress......We want to know if they will take it back and order her a bigger size??
Does anyone know if they will?? TIA

It varies from store to store. You'll have to speak to the manager and find out.

Definitely ask - I've done it before and they've been very understanding. The only thing that might not work is if the style has been discontinued.

I was told that you can exchange a dress for a different size, but only if the dress has not been discontinued.

Talk to them. I had the opposite issue--BM ordered a dress when she was preggo and hasn't lost all the weight, so it didn't fit. They simply exchanged it for a bigger one. It shouldn't be a problem as long as it hasn't been discontinued.

They will exchange it for another size and/or style but no returns.

Thank you ladies.......we are going Thurday to see if we can get a bigger one.
They still have the dress and color that I need on the web-site.......so wish me luck!!!

Yeah, I'd say ask. If it were a small Mom and Pop dress store, they might not but David's Bridal should be accomodating in some way.

David's is usually understanding with that sort of thing - as long as the line isn't discontinued, you should have NO problem at all... you'll probably have to pay a re-stocking fee and any increase in the price of the dress...
