Question

So, FH's sister is in my bridal party and she has a few tattoos. I have accepted them but now, I am worried about one. She has this huge one that is like a tribal on her upper arm. I don't want to ask her to cover them up with makeup because that is rude. But, I think I am sticking my girls in 3/4 sleeve boleros. It ***** because I am getting married in April but from what I've seen, April seems to be a cool month. I can't do a cap sleeve bolero because she has it in the middle of her upper arm so it's highly visable. Do you think it's ridiculous that I care about this????

Re: Question

I personally like tatoos, they are a way of self expression, however if it does bother you how about shawls or the balero may look nice as well, alot of designers sell them to match their dresses. I am having stoles, partially because my bm have tattoos and they aren't church friendly

No, personally I don't think you're being ridiculous. IMO I would probably ask her in some way if she would cover it up.

Re: Question

Instead of offending her, ask your photographer to airbrush them out afterwards.

You can't control how long she wears a shawl or jacket for and if just the look bothers you for your long term pics. Talk with the photographer.

The church is my main concern. I wanted her to be church friendly. I expect them to take them off in the reception- I won't care as much.

See, I don't know if I can do that- I think in a way that is insulting, you know? What if she's looking through my album and sees that? She may be hurt.
