is it wrong to ask my BM's to tip the girl doing their hair, if I am paying to have their hair and makeup done?

Re: Question...
Not at all.. it think it is appropriate as long as they know that they have to in advance.

Re: Question...
I think you should pay for the tip, but ask them if they can tip the stylists.

Re: Question...
I'm a little confused...do I tip the stylists, or do they? and how much?

Re: Question...
I paid for hair and makeup, and told the girls ahead of time just to cover the tips...they were perfectly fine, and happy, about that. For hair I think they tipped individually, as we had 2, but for the makeup girl I think they all just put it together and gave it to her at once.

I would think so...I wrote a little note in the card I gave them at the rehearsal that I was covering it, and I think I just told them then about tipping. And I had my mom remind them the day of...

Yup,, let them know that you are paying for the cost of the hair, but please make sure they tip the stylist.

Re: Question...
absolutely not! my cousin's gf is doing all of our hair for free as part of my wedding gift, but i've asked them to all tip her about $15-20 since it's well deserved!

Re: Question...
I personally wouldnt ask them to give a tip. If I am giving the gift of hair or mu I would pay 100% for everything including the tip.

This is a good idea. The rehearsal is the night before. Should I mention it before then as well?

You should definitely mention it before so if there are any problems with money you can address it earlier.
I'm tipping my stylist 50 for me and 3 girls (they're the owner of their own business).
