question...

Who is going around during cocktail hour to greet their guests?
Who is not going during cocktail hour and waiting til after their first dance to greet their guest?

I have 400 people and refuse to wait til after my first dance to greet all of them, it will take at least an hour! So we decided to come out during cocktail hour...like the last 45 minutes. Some people say its untraditional, or someone may spill a drink on me...what are you girls doing?

i dont know if its the right thing or not..but im def goin around during ch ..first off..i dont want to miss it..second we paid so much money for this wedding i want to enjoy every second..so if i can get all my hellos out of the way..im taking the chance

I completely agree! We are having a small wedding (about 85 ppl) and although it won't take long to say our hellos and thank yous, I want to get it out of the way! And I want to taste all of that good food

We are planning to go to our cocktail hour. I want to greet as many guests as I can during the CH so I do not miss out on the reception!

We are going to CH, even if it means cutting my photography time short. There will be just too much good food. I can't pass that up, but everyone says that you won't be able to grab a bite to eat b/c everyone is bombarding you. I don't care. I am just going to say, 'Excuse me! I'm HUNGRY! MOVE!!!' LMAO!!!

Definately during CH!!!!! I want to ENJOY my wedding by dancing and having fun I refuse to WASTE it saying hello to everyone because hun trust me when I say 400 people will take You ALLLLLLLLLLL NIGHT to say hello. NOT an hour and your wedding night will fly by and you wont be able to fully enjoy it =/

We are going to our CH. I want to get as many hellos and thank you for coming out of the way as we can! I went to a 400+ person and we didnt even see the bride! We saw the groom as we were leaving and I was a little pissed about that.
And I'm not saying this to start a war again (as it did in the past when I posted this!!!!!!!!!!!!).
Just saying... as a guest who gave a verrrrrry nice gift to the couple... they should have gone around to the tables or at least got on the mic and said thank you....but they didnt. lol!

We are DEFINITELY going to our CH! I have waited to long for my wedding day and am paying too much $$$ to miss one minute of it!!!

We will go to the CH and try to say hello to people and just enjoy the night.

We are not attending the CH. I want to have a little private party with my new hubby and BP. We have 4 bridal suites and I'm taking advantage!

Then after the first dance we will make our way around. Hoping to do that as fast as possible.
