Re: question...
I would be upset if i had to pay more than 175
When we looked the dress my girls like was 200 i knew i could get it cheaper but one of my bm told me she thought it was ridiculous if i picked out a dress for that much

Re: question...
IMO anything over 200 is a bit much. but it depends on how much they are willing to spend and what is their financial situtaion

Re: question...
I would feel bad asking my girls to pay more than $200, even though I know none of them have THAT tight of a financial situation... I would just feel bad.

Re: question...
I would try to max it at $300. The last Bridal party I was in the dress was $450 and the shoes were $180 I felt that it was over the top. Plus we helped out with the shower. Had I known the bride was gonna to expect us to spend that kind of money I would have declined.

Re: question...
i'm a BM now and i paid 160 and im kinda pissed cuz ill NEVER wear it again. But if it had been over $200 i would've had a huge problem.
Im not asking my BM to pay more than $150 and hopefully it will be one that she can wear again (not being delusional)

Re: question...
Under $200 bc they still have to get the dresses altered, shoes, hair, make-up, ect...

Re: question...
My BM dresses cost $216 (w/out alterations and tax). I really wanted to keep it under $150. But I let them pick out the dress and they all liked that one. I feel bad because I think that's a lot of money for a dress you may only wear once. So hopefully they will be able to wear it again.

Re: question...
I was in a wedding and had to pay $250 once - the amount of **tching from everyone else in the bridal party was unbelievable.
I do think its a bit much to make my friends pay over $200 for a dress they will never wear again, so if I end up going over $200 (I'm thinking JCrew), I'll pay the difference.

Re: question...
nothing more than $200 tops cause they still need to pay alterations, shoes, hair, bridal shower etc.

Re: question...
The dress I love it $250 retail (so hopefully lover when all is said and done!). I'm rationalizing this by making sure it is a dress they can wear over and over again (seriously). The pic is in my album.
