I have 17 months to go and FH and I agreed to pay for hall first before starting real planning (we have $2,000 to go). My MOH wants to start looking at dresses already, and secertly so do I. My question is how early is too early to start searching for 'The Dress'?

I dont think that theres a set timeline on when you can start looking for 'the dress' Only concern is that sometimes your taste can change and I'd for that to happen to you. BUT if you find 'the one' and you know its 'the one' then you wont hae any problem. GO FOR IT!!!

It's never too early to start looking!!! It's better for you to get an idea of what looks good on you. Kedra is right though, your taste may change, I started looking 5 months ago and almost bought a big ball gown/princess dress and I'm happy that I didn't because now I'm in love with this a-line gown from another designer...
