When people RSVP'd no...did they include a gift or no? Or did they send a gift later?
I don't want to sound like I am check hungry because I am not, but wondering what the norm is...

most people did not send a gift ... about 2 of them sent a gift off our registry with their 'no', and about 5 or 6 sent checks along with the rsvp card.
oh, and one person sent JUST a 'congratulations' card with a check but they never sent back the rsvp card ... when we called them (after the rsvp due date), they explained that the card *was* their rsvp

It depends, Some send it with some send it without and some just don't send one at all

of the 28 no's we received so far..we have only gotten 2 checks an 1 gift from our registry. so funny because when I respond no to a wedding I ALWAYS send a gift. I guess this is not the norm anymore?

before getting married, i had no idea that people even do that! but from now on, i prob will send a gift to any weddings i can't attend ... well, only if i actually like those people
