Question about a BM dress that a friend used as her BM dress

OK... basically our friends DW had these amazing BM dresses, very simple and very what I'm looking for! She even had them in the color I'm in love with. Would it be super tacky if I went with the same dress???

You'll all probably say YES! But, we would have about 5 guests in common and all of them are guys and their SOs.... Here's the dress...

PS... Friends DW wouldn't be mad at all... we actually joked about our similar taste and she was like 'by all means, take the dress!!!'.

If she didn't mind, I dont think its a problem at all, i personally love the color too! gorgeous dress!

I think I'm going to... I found another dress that I really like but it doesn't come in this color and it's strapless... I'm not a big fan of strapless and this is totally up my alley.. just my style!

PLUS... my dad's uncle is the owner (or something like that) of the company that makes the dress and since he has since retired, my dad's cousin's DH (get that?) now operates the company so the dresses would probably be super cheap... UGH! I'm going to have to talk to the newlyweds about this....

I don't think its a problem...Most won't even notice and if it were me and i noticed, i would be like Oh isn't that the same dress so and so had, popular dress i guess and wouldn't think anything else

True... I guess it's like the Bill Levkoff 966 dress... it's a beautiful dress and EVERYONE is using it... I almost did!!

SCREW IT YA'LL (<< Britney style)... I think I'll go for it!!!! My BMs are going to KILL me with the amount of times I change my mind!!

I don't think anyone will notice. All of us being engaged and planning a wedding focus on details when we are invited to a wedding but most people do not take in details... especially men regarding BM dresses. It's a very pretty dress and it sounds like you would have picked it if you friend didn't use it.

I don't think its a big deal either.

One of my BM's mentioned she already has a dress in the same color i'm using. I told her I didn't mind if she re-used the dress, but she needed to ask her SIL because I thought SHE might be insulted.

In the end I think she decided to just buy a new dress anyway.
