Ok - so, I am sending out my invites within the next week or so. We have a hotel block/direction card to put in the invites, and we are also having an afterparty. We have a bunch of OOT guests and also a few local friends that we know would stay at the hotel since there will be an afterparty. I didn't even think of making up cards or putting on the hotel block cards that there will be an after party. Should I just write on the top of the hotel block cards that there will be an afterparty to follow? Or should I just do it by word of mouth/email/etc?
eta: do I also need to state that there will be a shuttle service from the hotel to the RH?

Re: Question about afterparty
i would do it by word of mouth.. is everyone at the reception invited to the afterparty? if so you may want to have the DJ make an announcement at the end of the night... this is what someone i know did

Re: Question about afterparty
Anything that deals with the hotel, I am putting on the welcome letter in the OOT bags. That includes shuttle, after party, and brunch. All of the info is also on my website.
Anyone else not staying at the hotel can find out via word of mouth.

Re: Question about afterparty
we communicated our after party on our wedding website. our wedding website in printed on our direction card and included with the shower invitation and was e-mailed to friends in family. other than that people will find out via word of mouth!
