Question about Arbor Day tree sampling favors?

I was originally going to give one sampling per person....but then I started thinking would that be too much? Like some of my families come in numbers like 7 per house (like if they live with the grandparents and all the kids are still home). Would it be practical to give them 7 trees to plant (if they even have the space).

I was thinking to do one per household ...and maybe giving out a small edible favor to each person instead (like some candy or chocolate). Something like this...to go with the little bird theme i have going on with my paper stuff. And it would double as place card holders.

Would that be enough?

1 per house is perfectly acceptable. Plus they are $3 each so that could get very pricey. Do one per house and something sweet. The birds eggs are cute!

We're giving tree seedlings from Arbor Day Foundation to each couple. Children will get something eles, we havn't decided yet. Most of our small guestlist are staying @ the Mansion so they will recieve welcome bags overloaded w/ goodies so that's enough.

eta: we're packaging the seedlings in a planting pot and then boxing it up
