Question about Barron's at Tri County - UPDATED!

Ladies, I'm heading out to Barron's for the first time to look at headpieces. Do they have a place there at Tri County where they do embroidery too? Also, is there a place to eat there or nearby? I'm just trying to figure out timing etc.

Also, is Barron's a specific vendor at Tri County? After I park, where do I go? Thanks everyone!

UPDATE ON THIS PAGE.

Re: Question about Barron's at Tri County

Hi there, hope I can help!

There are tons of places to eat nearby- even in in the actual shopping center that Tri County is near. I think there's a Subway there at least....it's on Hempstead Turnpike so even if you wanted to drive a few minutes down the road to find something else, you will (Wendy's, McDonald's etc).

I normally park in the back of Tri County. Once you go in, you gotta walk straight ahead to the front of the store and make a right (you'll pass by tons of typical Flea Market booths)- you'll find Barron's on that side. If you park in the front of Tri County (harder to find a space that way), enter in the front doors and go straight to the left.

Not sure about embroidery- but I hope I helped!

Yes, you've definitely helped... THANK YOU. I'm from Manhattan and FH lives in Queens so Levittown is an utter mystery to me I wanted to take my hoodie with me to see if I can have it embroidered, but don't want to carry it around if that's not possible.

Oh I can totally understand the mystery!!

Here's the website for Tri-County- maybe you can find out embroidery there-
Tri-County Flea Market

Oh well...just looked at the site. Doubt it helps- it's a pretty lousy site. They mostly feature the upstairs section which is mainly jewelry. Sorry!

Re: Question about Barron's at Tri County

I'm just getting back from Tri County and I got my headpiece!!! I honestly didn't know what to expect and I am sooooo happy I asked where to find Barron's before I went since there are so many booths there!

Well, it's not as large as I had imagined, but they have a very nice selection of all types of headpieces. I went with my mom who is the kind of in and out shopping person so I felt like I had to make a decision and just buy one (we were there for over an hour) so I'm still nervous about my choice, but I do love it.

Anyway, they have TWO embroidery booths which I found on my way out. Since it was close to closing time, I left my hoodie there and will pick it up next week. It's going to be $20 to embroider the back and the front - not bad! THe booth I went with is where they do the car decals and embroidery, I think in Row G. So, I guess it was a very successful trip!

We also stopped by upstairs at Turkan (which someone on here recommended) and I saw the ring that I would LOVE for my FH. I want him to go wtih me next weekend to see it. It's gorgeous!

I'm so glad it worked out for you! Did you go anywhere nearby to eat?

I was also surprised at Barron's too...expecting something alot larger, grander and fancier.

Tell me about it! After hearing about Barron's so much, I totally expected this grand place... but still, I got my headpiece!

I actually just got a cinnamon pretzel on the way in (right inside Tri County) and it was perfect to hold me over until I got home.

Thanks again for the info!
