Does anyone plan to start taking BC pills so that you can make sure you don't have your . on your wedding day and honeymoon?
I haven't taking them in years, bc quite honestly, they make me a little hormonally crazy! But I almost want to go back on it so I can make sure I don't get it for the wedding and honeymoon. But i'm not sure the added craziness is worth it!
Any thoughts?! Reccomendations on what BC pill works for you?

im on loestrin 24. i havent had any problems but it did take me about 4 months to get regular on it. so if you are going to do it i would start now.
i think i figured out that i will have my period the week leading up to the wedding thank goodness!

I have never been on a BC pill ever... but I am very much interested in going on it for the same reason as you. I need to make a gyno appt. soon to find out more info.

omg my gyno just helped me yesterday to adjust my pills so i dont get it on the WD....shes the bomb!

I'm on the pill...have been for about two years... It helps make everything more planned. If they alter your mode alot, you may be on the wrong BC.

I'm spoiled rotten. I'm on seasonale - so I only get my period 4 times a year! I love love love it. I was going to go off it because we want to try to get pregnant right away, but then I realized that if I did that, I would be pms-ing right before the wedding AND since we're taking such a long HM, I'll get my period on the HM.
So, I am stopping it next December. I'm going to miss it in a way....it was so nice.........................

they make me nuts too. i am going to see if my doc can squeeze me in next week to discuss this. i am not going to have my period for the wedding or honeymoon. but i am worried i will get preggo if i don't go on something. we had a little oops with a condom the other night. that has never happened before. so it freaked me out a little.
anyone know anything about the nuvaring?

I'm on the Nuvaring and love it! I've been n BC pills for years and always forgot to take my pill every day. Nuvaring is soooo much easier. I've heard some girls say that it's easier to get pregnant on it than other BC but all the documentation gives the same statistics as anything else I've ever been on. I'd highly recommend it!

I have been on BC forever and I would love to go off it, but I am waiting until right after the wedding for that exact reason. I have this application on my phone that tracks and forecasts your period...although it is easy to do anyways when you are on the pill, you just count it yourself and I will have it the week before the wedding as well....I am pathetic though...I have started a countdown until I can finally trash the pill.....ha ha
