I am so confused every time I try to do a search on my photographer nothing comes up, where as in the past I would get tons of previous posts??? Now today when I was writing a FM to another LIWer I wrote who my photographer was and LIW Bleeped the name out with ******* I don't get it??? Does this mean something bad or shady is going on with them

I wasnt talking about their bad reviews or post-which I am aware of! Everyone has thier own opinions and so on, I just want to know why their name is not appearing?

Nope not having a bad day at all just think its a shame that some need to constantly put down other's vendors time and time again! Sorry if you felt my post was catty!

Sorry to intrude and i typically do not respond to posts like this, however I dont think that she was trying to put your vendor down, I think she was trying to tell you that the reason his name was bleeped out was because he requested to do so.... he requested to do so because he was getting negative reviews on some posts. I dont think she meant any harm. I am sure each and every bride out there has something good and bad to say about all of our vendors, but you asked a question as to why...and that is why!

I'm in agreement with this statement 100% I believe Jackie had no melicious intention on 'proving' that your vendor has negative reviews. As you stated, you are aware, and it is your personal choice that you chose them. It was in response to why this specific vendor has their name bleeped out and JMHO, your response was unwarranted and a little nasty.
Becuase this site is a BUSINESS after all, vendors pay money to place their advertising on the site and they do not take too kindly to past negative experiences, and can request that their names be 'bleeped' from the posts. From a business standpoint, it is slander and LIWeddings can be held liable for such.

Thanks girls for all of your replies as now know why the name is not appearing!
As far as being nasty, catty, or making unwarranted comments....I do feel that when reading something it can be taken in several different ways and maybe I just took some of the responses wrong....although it was reiterated over and over again how bad some of their reviews were, but I guess that goes with answering the question!

Believe me, we all understand your frustration. It's the worst feelig in the world when someone does put down your vendor....almost unwarranted.
Never feel that you can't ask something on here...there will always be an answer...sometimes directly, and sometimes through the labrynth of responses.
Good Luck with your planning, and your decision to use a vendor is yours and yours alone....YOUR POCKET, YOUR BUSINESS.

In the future, should you or anyone have a question about a specific vendor I suggest sending an FM to Ron and Liz...LIWeddings NYCityWeddings...it's a quick and definite answer, it's private and there won't be any assumptions, you'll get your answer straight from the 'horse's mouth'.

I believe it's all connected, meaning, it can't be posted anywhere on the website. Even though FM is private, it's still part of the website. Curses get bleeped out in FMs too, which I only know because I have a potty mouth.
