So my brother is getting married in October, and I am in the bp. His fiance has already picked out dresses and we are going next week. We have not tried them on and she is set that this is what she wants, and she wants us to order them and leave 50% deposit when we go. I do not like the dress from the pics bc I feel like it will not be flattering on me.
Here is the dress. Does anyone know anything about how this dress fits, and how it would look on someone who is not skinny? I feel like it will show EVERY little bump and roll on your stomach.
How can someone pick out a dress and be set on it before all the girls try it on.
dont know how it looks on but fsil did the same thing... i think that dress is pretty flattering actually... its not sweetheart so you dont have to worry about the 'girls' coming out lol, floor length so that takes care of any insecurities you may have with your legs, and ties at the waist, which will accentuate it. its really hard trying to find one dress that will look amazing on 6 or however many body types, and if you start listening to each bridesmaid it can get realllllllly hectic. just go, try it on, if you really have a problem with it then maybe hint to her that your not so comfortable. some of the other girls may feel that way too and she may end up changing it.

I was actually decided on a BM dress, but when I went to the store I hated it. And I even tried it on and did not think that it would be flattering on anyone. But I did see another dress that everyone loved. Sometimes things look really different in pictures. The best thing is to try it on with other BM's. If you are all really uncomfortable in the dress then hopefully the bride will understand and try out different options. Good luck!

It might not look bad on and you never know maybe the bride will change her mind after all the girls try it on. You may also be surprised and like the dress. Good Luck!
