Question about BM dress colors

What does everyone think about darker colors for BM dresses in august (sunday evening)? I really like the periwinkle or victorian lilac, but I am wondering if i would be happier with a deeper blue or something.

Personally I think that lighter colors for a sunday evening in august is better. I love the colors you are debating. But If you would be really happy with deep blue.. go for it! In the end it will look great with any color.

I am biased...I'm getting married in august (on a saturday though) and I'm going with purple tones...I'm letting the BMs pick the colors (within the purple family). It's your day...I think deep blue is beautiful
