Question about BM gifts...

Okay -- so for my BM's, so far i've bought them each:

- medium land's end tote
- a pair of freshwater pearl studs
- pearl drop necklace
- a pair of flip flops
and i contributed to the cost of their BM dresses over 200 dollars (ended up being between 40-60 per BM)

my question is... the medium tote from land's end is actually way bigger than i thought it was going to be and my original plan was to just fill the tote with the rest of the gifts for the girls -- but now, i feel like it's too big to do that.

Do you think it would be stupid to just get smaller gift bags and fold the tote up with the other gifts inside another bag? Or should i get them something else that's a bit more bulky to fill up the tote better -- like a beach towel?

You can either do the beach towel, which is a good idea. or fill the bottom with thick paper/tissue, and make the top pretty.

I got the cutest totes and beach towels for my girls!

The bags have their initial on them and the beach towels have their names embroidered on them.

okay great. that makes me feel better about my beach towel idea The only reason I was questioning whether or not to do that is that my wedding is in mid Sept -- so the girls really won't be able to use the towels until the following summer

My wedding is 2 days before yours

I live in FL, so the idea is that I'm giving them something they can use when they come visit me!

But I honestly don't think it matters...beach towels are SO cute, and unlike a lot of stupid gifts that will likely wind up in the trash, this is something they'll actually use!

Either is fine, if you need to cut back just fill the bag with tissue paper - that's what I'm doing..I'm already over budget on their gifts!

i was in home goods yesterday and they had these really cute throws for 9.99 each. Maybe you could fill the extra space with that.

i would probably use the tissue paper! i'm running out of money!!
