I have my final floral appointment on Wednesday and I get to see my centerpieces but out of curiousity how much material did you order to wrap the girls bo-k's in. I plan on asking my florist on Wednesday but I am getting nervous that I wont have enough time to order the material. I need 7 bo-k's wrapped for the girls and 2 for the flower girls. TIA

Re: Question about bo-k's
I thought the florist wraps the flowers and provides the ribbon/fabric. I'm not sure how it's done usually, but my florist will be wrapping the bok's with the colors I've chosen.

Re: Question about bo-k's
They usually have ribbon there or what I am doing is using the material from the girls dresses so it matches perfect. Just a thought!

Re: Question about bo-k's
I didn't have enough from the girls alterations / hems so I had to buy fabric too. I brough a swatch of their dresses & one of mine for our BOK wraps.
I got my material at: Elegant Fabrics 222 W 40th st
6 BOK's for BM's - I got 1 yard of fabric 1 BOK for me- 1/2 yard Total $19
They have a huge selection. Depending on how wide the spool, will depend how much fabric you need.
HTH!!

I'm not sure. My florist provides the wrap. Did yours tell you that need to order it?

my florist provided the wraps too. I asked for chocolate brown and she showed me months ahead of time the chocolate brown they had and i said it was perfect and just went with that

Re: Question about bo-k's
I guess it's prob my fault because I said I wanted the exact fabric from the dresses so I was going to order from BR extra fabric. Maybe I should just call them up Monday and ask if the have a similar color and bring my swatch with me on Wed. I make everything so difficult sometimes I mean I have a pretty popular color sage green so i am sure they have the fabric. Thanks everyone

yeah call your florist and ask to see fabric they have in a similar color and if you'll like it. This way saves you trouble and money.

Re: Question about bo-k's
This probably won't help you but I told my florist I have 1 yard for each Bo-k. He said this is enough. I think you can probably get away with half of that.

Ask your BMs to give you their hems from alterations. It will likely be enough for the boks and you can even use it to wrap candles and vases at your cocktail hour. If not, just ask the florist to match it. They do a great job and this isn't something you should have to spend more $$$ on. JMHO!

Re: Question about bo-k's
I just took a swatch of fabric to mine and she matched up a ribbon she had.
