When you booked hair did you ask for some sort of letter or contract- my deposit is $50 and not that thats a lot but I want at least something in writing? Is that normal or am I being silly?

I didn't get a contract from my hair and makeup people but they are very reliable so I am not worried- I also didn't have to put any $$ down for a deposit either but I am going to get in touch with them the middle of January to confirm everything.
I think it varies. I didn't get a contract for my hair and makeup person (same person). I was a bit on edge, but she had already made some accommodations for me on the trial scheduling, which signaled to me she was serious about working together, and good reviews on this site. It worked out well. Based on other threads with the same question for this site, it seems some hair/makeup people do and some don't. Good luck.

They should have given you a contract, or at least a receipt for your deposit.
It makes so much sense to get a contract! I never thought of it but I will be asking my guy when I see him!
