Question about BP issues

Is it just me, or does anyone else kind of regret asking someone to be in your BP ?? I know its really not a HUGE issue, and I know that come the day of my wedding, this thought woudn't even cross my mind, but I kind of regret asking a friend of mine to be in my BP Ahh!!

Thing is, we just aren't that close anymore. We grew up together as childhood friends and as we got older, we grew apart. The reason why I asked her was because well..I just felt that all these years we remained friends even after she moved away.. got married and started a family. I just feel that our friendship lasted even thought we arent as close (obviously) as we once was.

Question is... are you tight with everyone in your BP?? Is there anyone you either regret asking, or asked because you felt you 'had to'..You know what I mean. The rest of the girls in my BP are either my cousins or my close friends. I just have this one girl who I question.. errr

Okay Im silly today.

I am kind of dealing with this right now, there is a friend that I have. We were so close in college but now we are not that close. She is a 'high-maintanence friend' and I am going back and forth between asking and not, the thing is I can't picture us being life-long friends like we thought we would be.
I want girls in my bridal party to be friends that I will talk to in 10+ years...

I asked FI's sister to be in the bp because he asked me to. We are not that close.

I don't regret asking one person, however, had I known she was preggo when I asked her, I wouldn't have asked. It is a lot of responsibility and she is out of state. I love her to death, I just feel like it is extra stress on her.
