question about bridal showers...

when you get to your shower, did you go around and kiss and say hi to every single person there? After you opened each present did you just scream out thank you??

From my experience in being in bridal parties and attending them,, the bride mingles.. visits table and says hi or thanks..

I plan on making a small 'speech' of thanks after I open the presents.

Re: question about bridal showers...

i was thinking about this the other day actually. i'm hoping to be able to make it around to each table to say hello and kiss everyone. i don't know if they expect it the second you walk in the door. that's for saying hi to your mom, MIL and BP. I'm also planning on announcing each name when opening the gift and saying thank you once i open it. We'll see if it all goes according to plan though!

I went and said hello to everyone there.. then after I finished gifts I said a little something towards everyone from my chair.

I got around to every person and said hello, I felt bad that I didn't get to spend time with more of the guests, especially those that really had to travel to get there. I tried to make a little speech after I opened the gifts but they rushed me so much that I didn't really get a chance to.

the last one i went to...the bride greeted everyone as they came (it wasnt a surprise)

the one before that....my cousin walked around to everyone and chatted/said hello etc

i would say just yell out thank you after each gift and if you want say a little thank you/speech at the end

I did actually go around when I got there and kiss everyone hello and chat with them for a few mins. As I opened each gift, I would locate the person (from my chair) and yell out a thank you! And then as they were leaving, I thanked them again.
