I just bought somethings from there today for someone off their registry at around 2pm. Well, I looked up their registry online and they didn't come off. It looks like nobody bought it. I looked at my receipt and the registry number is on there. Does it take a day to come off? I will be so annoyed someone else gets the same things and I have to go back!

I'd call the store - in most stores, the cashier updates the registry immediately.

I called the store and they told me to take it off the computer myself. Huh? I can't do that so I called their 800# and spoke to someone there. The guy told me that it comes off their store registry first and then gets updated in our computers 24 hours later. I will check tomorrow and see if its off. If not, I'm calling back.

That's dumb - how can you do anything online without buying it??!!
I thought the one of the only few stores with a delay was BBB....but who knows.
I'd definitely check the site again tomorrow and worst case, speak with the manager

Def follow up--cause a friend went to buy a joiunt gift fo us at like noon and by 3 pm it was off the online registry already!!! and this was only on fri!!

Sue, I think it depends on who is working the registry update at the store that day. This has happened to me before and while they were updating someone got the same thing. I would call again... It is frustrating.
