Does anyone know if they give prices over the phone? I know the dress I want I just don't want to drive all the way out there (im from Queens) for no reason.

Re: Question about Burtons
I don't think so. We had to make an appointment. BTW, your reception hall is beautiful. It was one of our choices. I'm so jealous!!

Oh thank you! Did you try to ask for a price? Did you buy anything from them?

Re: Question about Burtons
We live close so it wasn't an issue. But usually you have to make an appontment with any vendor to discuss prices. We didn't go with them because they were a little too traditional for us. But call just to check, there's no harm.

Re: Question about Burtons
you can get almost everything over the phone - i am OOT bride and almost everyone will tell me
most places will not give the price over email - because you can use that to get someone elses price lower

Re: Question about Burtons
I called and they gave me a quote right over the phone. But I did go there for an appointment a couple of weeks ago. If you'd like, FM me the dress and style number and I'll call and ask for you. They know who I am and Im constantly calling because I havent made up my mind yet.

Re: Question about Burtons
I called and they gave me a quote over the phone as well.
Who has time to run from place to place? If I can't get a general quote over the phone I don't deal with a vendor... JMO... I'm way too busy with work etc.

Re: Question about Burtons
They do give quotes over the phone. Well at least I was given one... but maybe that was because I had already been there before. It won't hurt to try!

I'm using them for my BM dresses, and I clled and asked if they had the dress i wanted, told them the number of girls, and they were more than willing to give me a quote. There's was the best price, it's worth the drive!!
