Question about camera phones...

I was just wondering what everyone thought of them - and what everyone's experience with them is (for those that do have one). Is it worth $15 a month?? I am thinking of getting but just want to hear opinions before i do. THanks!

I don't think I would pay $15 a month for that. From what I understand the resolution is pretty low.

Why $15 a month? I just switched to Verizon and got a camera phone for 70 bucks after the mail in rebate. Everything is included in the family share plan DH and I got.

Sprint is a ripoff.

You know that you can switch carriers and keep your numbers now right? We just did it, and if you have the same service, you can both switch together and be on a family plan. We have free Verizon to Verizon calls also. Unlimited and 1000 minutes between the 2 of us.

FH has sprint and paid a lot for his phone and doesnt want to change it and likes his service and i havent been able to talk him out of it so sprint it is...

Does Verizon not charge for using the camera phone??

Nope, no charge. I think if you send pictures it gets charged to your minutes. But that's no $15 bucks a month. On Sprint that $15 will turn into 25 after all the taxes and surcharges. Totally not worth IMO.

Tmobile charges the picture sending .10 as if it were a text message. I pay 10.00 a month for unlimited text messaging. Cause thats all I do all day long.

Yeah, i'm thinking of not getting it - Misty you are so right -the taxes will make it even more insane!
