Question About Cancelling a Vendor

I am thinking about cancelling one of my vendors and hiring a different one. I looked over my contract last night and there is no cancellation policy anywhere in the contract. The only thing it says is that the deposit is non-refundable.

So my question is will I have to pay the balance of the Contract (my wedding is in 5 months) or being that there is no cancellation language in the contract I will only lose my deposit?

I think your best bet is to contact them and outright ask them about the cancellation policy. See what they say and take it from there. HTH
