Question about cancelling hall...

Question about cancelling hall...

Our contract says that we would receive a credit for our deposit amount. minus $500 bookkeeping fee.

I read there was a law in suffolk county stating you get your full deposit back minus $100 if the cancellation is more then 6 months before the event.

anyone know anything about this?

Yes that is true....you get all but $100 if you cancel with 6 months or more. If they give you a hard time contact the Consumer Affairs dept of Suffolk Co. They are wonderful and will get you your money in no time!! FM if you need help
