Question about changing cell phone compnay and keeping your number
We are thinking about changing our service since Ray now gets a discount through his job. We both definitely want to keep our numbers. is it a hassle and how long does it take? Thanks!

We did it in Sept. and it was very easy. The new company pretty much takes care of everything. I am pretty sure the switchover took less than 24 hours. No hassle at all.

my friend just did it and it was done right away and she has had no probs with it i plan on doing it too also

Oh good! I am sad to be getting a new phone, but I guess it will be saving us $$ and the new phone will be alot smaller. As long as I can keep my # I'll be happy!

DH went from Nextel to Verizon which I already had and the number switched in half an hour!

i went from AT&T to Verizon and they do all of the work.. switching 'ports' and all of that technical stuff.. it was really easy..
