Can you get it off of the bottom of the springform pan, or do you serve it right on the pan? I made one last week and left it on the bottom... but I plan on bringing one to a party this week and I'd rather not bring it right on the pan bottom. How do you remove it from the pan?

Re: Question about Cheesecake Baking
I usually bring the bottom but someone mentioned putting a cake circle (like the cardboard one from michaels) at the bottom. I never tried it and it sounds like it would burn. I bought a silicone baking pan for cheesecake and it comes out without a problem

Re: Question about Cheesecake Baking
I wonder if I could line it with parchment paper?

Re: Question about Cheesecake Baking
If you line it with wax paper you can remove it from the bottle

I think parchment paper would work...make sure you butter both sides before you put it in the pan and it will come out easier. And I will be expecting a cheesecake soon!
