question about chocolate favors?

I would like to do chocolate truffles as favors...

How far in advance can I purchase them?

Does anyone know of a good place to get them from (quality/taste/price)?

Re: question about chocolate favors?

You should buy chocolates no more than 6 months in advance. Even if kept in a cool dry place, chocolate will go bad. As for truffles you should try godiva or lindt.
