Question about Church weddings..

Question about Church weddings..

does anyone know if we are supposed to bring the things we need to the rehearsal?

or do we have someone get there a little early and bring it/set it up the day of?

my church office is closed right now so i cant call and ask them..

btw- my church is christ the king in commack.

i will need to bring pew bows, programs (if we make them), ribbon wands and unity candles..... what are you all doing about this stuff??

i think it varies church to church. Who is your liason for your church ceremony? call him/her

it depends on the church.

our church we have to bring the unity candles in advance. the programs, wands, etc go with the groomsmen the day of

i dont have a liaison.. i dont think.. lol.... there is only 1 number i can call to get in touch with the priest or the parish office staff- and it says they are closed right now. i guess if it depends on the church i will wait until i can get in touch with them.. thanks girls!

I have to find that out also. We are having rehersal Thursday and wedding is on Saturday. I am hoping to get there Friday evening if possible I don't want to be rushed around day of and forget things

we are bringing it with us to the rehersal and doing it the night before...we did the same thign for Jeris wedding..put the pewbows on the night before.........

at my church we bring everything we need to the rehearsal and the bridal corrdinator of my church takes care of it the day of.

okay i spoke to my priest.. their office has such odd hours.. they open in the morning then close for a few hours at lunch time.. then open again and close again for a few hours and then open again at 7pm and close at 9... soooo anyway, now that you know the hours of my church office... lol...

he said to do the pew bows on the day of- have someone come in a little early to set them up.. so that nobody takes them down at night thinking they were from the previous wedding or something.. which makes sense i guess. but he said we can bring the unity candles and stuff to the rehearsal and they will lock them up for us.
